- Does the Odor Check™ product contain harmful chemicals?
No, the product is chemically and biologically inert. There are no chemicals in the Odor Check's and it is non-toxic and earth friendly.
- Does the Odor Check™ work with work boots and hunting boots?
YES. Odor Check™ has even partnered with Red Wing Shoes® to have the Odor Check™ products carried in Red Wing Shoe® Stores across the U.S.A. and Canada. Odor Check™ works on hunting boots and work boots to reduce odor, as well as eliminate moisture and keep boots dry.
- What happens if it is ingested?
This product is 100% biologically and chemically inert. There is nothing in there that will hurt you or your pets. There are absolutely no chemicals and it will pass through the digestive system. Obviously, we do not recommend that you or your pets eat this product but in case of accidental ingestion, drink plenty of water and consult your physician.
- How long does the product last?
With normal daily use a pair of Odor Check™ inserts will last an entire season or approximately 2-4 months (depending environment). Once the inserts have lost their effectiveness, replace with a new pair of Odor Check's.
- Once the Odor Check™'s have lost their effectiveness, can I
discard the product in the garbage?
Yes, you may throw it in the trash. It is completely safe at landfills and may be discarded according to federal, state, and local regulations.
- How do I use the Odor Check™ Product?
Place or insert anywhere you want to eliminate moisture and/or odors. Works great in shoes, skates, boots, gym bags, gym lockers, clothes closets, gun safe's, cars, etc.
- Will the product stain or discolor other materials that it comes
in contact with?
No, the moisture wicking material is color fast and will not stain or discolor other materials it comes in contact with.
- How long does it take the product to work?
The Odor Check™ inserts will dry out most shoes and equipment in as little as 2-3 hours, but is designed to perform ideally if left to work over night or between games, practices, or workouts.
- How does this product work?
The moisture is drawn to the insert by the wicking nature of the Scent-Lok carbon activated fabric, trapping the odor vapor given off by the perspiration. Moisture passing through the fabric shell is then absorbed by the Odor Check™ super absorbent fill, drawing the moisture and odor causing bacteria into its porous core, locking it inside.
- What's this product made of?
The moisture wicking shell is made with Scent-Lok odor eliminating technology and the fill is made with Silica sand, water and oxygen - 100%. There are no fillers in this product. We have a patented technology and it is nontoxic and 100% safe for pets and people.
